About

Hello!

My name is Thilina Bandara, population health researcher and health system consultant. My interest is in understanding the implementation and effects of universal vs. targeted policy approaches in health and social systems. I am also keenly interested in public and private innovations that work to improve health equity.

I have experience writing for a variety of audiences across different types of publications including  peer-reviewed journals, medical and health care newsletters, and popular media sites. I am also a photographer and hummus enthusiast.

If you want to chat about population health, or send me picture of a dog, please email me or tweet at me.

Thanks for dropping by!
